Amount and period of payments to citizens of pre-retirement age
If unemployment benefits are assigned to a pre-retirement person in 2021, a special procedure for payment of funds has been established. Thus, they increase the payment period. The issue is regulated by Article 34.2 of Federal Law No. 1032-1. - the first three months 75% of average monthly earnings;
- next four months 60% of earnings;
- subsequently 45% of earnings.
At the same time, the amount of unemployment benefits for pre-retirees in 2021 cannot exceed the maximum payment amount and be lower than the minimum amount. In October 2021, he decides to stop working and quit. The employee implemented his plan in the same month. At the time of dismissal, the man was 57 years old. - Determine the amount of benefits to be paid during the first three months. 35,000 x 75% = 25,250 rub. The amount exceeds the maximum possible amount. This means that the citizen will be paid 12,792 rubles.
- Payments are calculated for the next four months. 35,000 x 60% = 21,000 rub. The amount is also more than the established maximum. This means that the benefit for pre-retirement people will remain the same and amount to 12,130 rubles.
- Employment center employees calculate the amount of payment for the remaining 7.5 months. 35,000 x 45% = 15,750 rub. The final value still turned out to be greater than the maximum. - sending for training by exchange employees, as the student receives a scholarship;
