In accordance with subparagraph “a” of paragraph 1 of Article 22 of the Federal Law “On Military Duty and Military Service”, the following are subject to conscription for military service: male citizens aged 18 to 27 years, registered with the military or not, but required to be registered military registration and not in reserve.

Thus, citizens in the reserve are not subject to conscription for military service.
