The reasons for skipping, in addition to low air temperature, may be prolonged rain, which caused erosion of the road surface, heavy snowfall and the inability to clear roads in a short time, and so on.

If forced absence is not due to illness or to visit a medical institution for other reasons, then all other reasons can be called short-family circumstances. The law does not stipulate that parents are obliged to report to the educational institution the data that they do not want for any reason.

Why is it important to write a statement addressed to the director and what is his responsibility?

The direct responsibility of the school is not only to educate children, but also to be responsible for their life and health, to look after and care for them.

In most cases, parents choose the general form “for family reasons”; it implies various reasons for absence, for example, it could be a wedding, funeral or vacation.
