From the Ruling of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated April 7, 2017 N 310-KG17-4016, it also follows that the presence of incorrectly executed certificates of incapacity for work in itself is not a basis for not accepting for offset the amounts of insurance coverage paid by the policyholder to the insured persons.

Thus, if, in the event of an inspection, the territorial bodies of the Federal Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation do not accept for offset the amounts paid on certificates of incapacity for work filled out even partially with a ballpoint pen, the policyholders have every reason to defend their position in court.
