How to fill out a production characteristic for the ITU

Determining the category of severity of work performed

The above-mentioned states of the body are manifested in physical and mental labor.
Moreover, this applies to favorable and unfavorable areas. In production conditions, depending on factors, one condition may predominate. Therefore, they are used to determine the category of work severity. Working conditions are based on an analysis of the work environment within which the activity is performed. There are 3 human states that affect the quality of work and health: normal, borderline, pathological. All categories of severity of work performed have their own characteristics, since each is characterized by certain characteristics.

Basic and additional factors of production

In addition to tension, there are several other parameters that affect working conditions. They are defined as factors of the production environment:

  1. Physical level indicators: humidity, temperature, noise, gas pollution and others.
  2. Chemical level indicators: influence of chemical and pharmacological substances.
  3. Biological level indicators: the influence of bacteria, viruses and other living beings.

Classification of working environment factors and labor process
Factors of the working environment have 4 hazard classes. Work of the first and second classes does not have a negative impact on the worker’s body. Third class work has several hazard groups:

  1. The negative impact is compensated by rest, during which the body recovers.
  2. The emergence of persistent pathologies over a long period of time: 15 years or more.
  3. The risk of developing diseases after a certain time, leading to complete loss of ability to work.
  4. There is a danger to life every time you go to work.

Classifier of harmful and dangerous environmental factors in production
Includes the natural activity of the human body, which, if repeated frequently, quickly leads to its wear and tear:

  1. Heavy physical work in a constant standing position.
  2. Work in a bent position: sitting or tilted.
  3. Regular tension of the limbs during various types of physical labor.
  4. Exposure to vibration, noise, temperature, humidity.
  5. Environmental pollution.

You can also add to the above parameters: constant walking during working hours, monotonous movements when performing specific operations.

When neuropsychic types of overstrain are identified, their calculation is made depending on the number of operations performed per hour of working time.

Category of work by severity (GOST -88)

mental activity is determined mainly by the participation in the labor process of the central nervous system and sensory organs. During mental work, the heart rate decreases, blood pressure increases, metabolic processes are weakened, the supply of blood to the extremities and abdominal cavity decreases, at the same time, the flow of blood to the brain increases (8 to 10 times compared to the resting state). Mental activity is very closely related to the work of the senses, primarily the organs of vision and hearing. Compared with physical activity, in certain types of mental activity (the work of designers, computer operators, students and teachers), the tension of the senses increases by 5–10 times. This predetermines more stringent requirements for the regulation of noise, vibration, and illumination levels specifically during mental activity.

Category III includes work associated with constant movement, moving and carrying significant (more than 10 kg) weights and requiring significant physical effort (a number of professions involving manual operations in metallurgical, engineering, and mining enterprises).

Categories of labor severity

Fifth - work in which, as a result of very unfavorable working conditions, at the end of the working period, reactions are formed that are characteristic of the pathological functional state of the body in practically healthy people, disappearing in most workers after proper rest. However, in some individuals they can develop into work-related and occupational diseases.

The fourth is work in which exposure to unfavorable factors leads to the formation of a deeper borderline state in practically healthy people. Most physiological indicators deteriorate, especially at the end of working periods (shifts, weeks). Typical production-related conditions of pre-disease, etc., appear.

Medical and social examination ->

Labor recommendations for disabled people with 2nd degree OSDD are given when work is not contraindicated, but is available only in specially created conditions, with the use of auxiliary technical means and (or) with the help of other persons. What are specially created conditions? This is a set of measures that provide the conditions and working regime necessary for a disabled person, including a significantly reduced working day with the provision of the indicated types of work, preferential production standards, the introduction of additional breaks, strict adherence to sanitary and hygienic standards, systematic medical supervision, the ability to work completely or partially from home and other specially specified features in working conditions. As part of the creation of specially created conditions, special workplaces for disabled people, special workshops, special sections, specialized enterprises intended for the work of disabled people, and home-based conditions can be created. Special jobs can be created both in general enterprises and in specialized enterprises within the established quotas for the employment of people with disabilities. In accordance with the “Temporary requirements for specialized workplaces for disabled people”, approved by the Russian Ministry of Labor in 1993, requirements are provided for workplaces for disabled people with the following diseases: neuropsychiatric diseases, tuberculosis, cardiovascular and other somatic diseases, diseases of the organs of vision and hearing, musculoskeletal system. Home-based work can be provided to disabled people by both regular and specialized enterprises. Moreover, such an organization is allowed only for persons who have the necessary living conditions, as well as certain practical skills. Auxiliary technical means include specially designed hand tools, special devices for operating and servicing equipment, special indicators on equipment or furniture (visual, acoustic, tactile), etc.

These labor recommendations do not completely comply with the requirements that I mentioned above. Similar examples of low-quality labor recommendations, found in many branches, can be cited until the end of our conference. All of the above entails the long-term state of the majority of disabled people being registered as unemployed and the unlawful expenditure of large federal funds on the payment of unemployment benefits.

How to determine the category of severity of work performed for VTEK

A production characteristic for an employee is a form that is drawn up by the administration of the enterprise upon request, and a production characteristic for an employee for VTEK is issued to the employee to provide information at the place of request. Production characteristics: sample and types of forms Based on the variety of information that needs to be provided to a particular department, the sample production characteristics differ in the form of compilation: 1. The most common option is to use the production characteristics as an official document that lists professional skills and personal qualities , as well as the public position of the employee. This type of document is called a reference from the place of work.2. The information necessary to establish the degree of disability when assigning a disability group, or to make a comprehensive expert assessment of the patient, is compiled in the form of a production characteristic.

Hygienic standards for working conditions MPC. MPL - levels of working environment factors that, when working daily except weekends for 8 hours, but not more than 40 hours per week, during the entire working experience, should not cause diseases or deviations in health, detected by modern research methods, in the process of work or in distant periods of life of the present and subsequent generations. Whether to close the sick leave in your situation or to extend it is decided only by the attending doctors of the clinic, it does not depend on the MSE. The degree of functional disorders is determined according to the classification of dysfunctions of the body into four degrees of severity: - 1st degree - minor dysfunctions; — 2nd degree — moderate dysfunction; — 3rd degree — severe dysfunction; — 4th degree — significantly pronounced dysfunction. Labor intensity is a characteristic of the labor process, reflecting the load primarily on the central nervous system, sensory organs, emotional sphere of the employee and the degree of its severity. As a rule, in many professions there is a combination of several unfavorable factors that have a negative impact on the course of the disease in a working person. Working conditions are characterized by a number of indicators of the severity of work - this is the working position and posture, predominant stay on the legs, frequent bending of the body, the pace of production operations, body shaking under the influence of vibration, meteorological conditions, all types of radiation, contact with toxic substances, the presence of occupational hazards and etc. Types of mental work Mental work includes work related to the reception and processing of information, the implementation of which requires significant stress on the sensory apparatus, attention, memory, activation of thinking and the emotional sphere. Has it occurred in the last 12 months? All types of radiation: ionizing radiation, laser radiation, magnetic field, insolation. exposure to static electricity, electric field. Approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 15, 2021. Factors in the labor process that characterize the severity of physical labor. The rating increases for activity on the site. Creative work: scientists, writers, composers, actors, painters, architects, designers.

Contents of the specification: what information needs to be reflected

If ITU has not sent a specific form, then the company has the right to draw up a document using its own sample. As a rule, all information is listed point by point (about 15-20 sections in total). Conventionally, all content can be divided into 3 parts.

Information about the employee and company

Here are the standard data:

  • company name and contact phone number;
  • Full name, date of birth of the employee;
  • his profession (exactly as indicated in the documents);
  • the facility where he works (for example, site No. 5 or a workshop for the production of semi-finished meat products);
  • total length of service (according to the work book) in all jobs;
  • work experience only in this profession (including with other employers);
  • the employee’s duties (this describes the list of actions that the employee performs daily - for example, loading and unloading operations, setting up equipment, assembling furniture, etc.).

Description of his working conditions

This is the main part of the characteristics, which answers the main questions of the ITU. Here you need to describe the character and work regime of the employee based on qualitative (satisfactory, normal, good) and quantitative (load up to 15 kg, temperature no more than +30 o C) characteristics. Typically they follow this plan:

  1. Nature of work – general description of work (mental or physical). In addition, it is necessary to characterize the intensity of work based on its volume. It is described in qualitative terms - mild, moderate or severe tension. The neuropsychic load is also described in terms of “present/absent”.
  2. Labor productivity means whether an employee fulfills the standard established by the enterprise (or individually for it) or not.
  3. Remuneration scheme and breakdown by month (for the last year). Payment can be made at a set rate, according to the volume of work (piecework), by the hour or according to a bonus scheme.
  4. The total number of days over the last year during which the employee went on sick leave (only due to his illness, not a child, close relative, etc.). The dates (start and end) and diagnosis (as written on the sick leave certificate) are indicated.
  5. Are there any harmful production factors, what exactly (noise, dust, smell, bright/dim light). These parameters are described in qualitative and quantitative assessment. For example, a constant noise level of 75 decibels).

Answers to specific questions regarding employee health

These questions also relate to the working conditions and health characteristics of the worker. ITU often requires the following information:

  1. Whether the employee was on business trips, worked night shifts, or stayed for overtime (over the last year).
  2. Were any manifestations of the disease recorded at work, and what were they expressed in (malaise, heart attack, absent-mindedness, etc.).
  3. Were there any cases when an employee left work early but did not take out sick leave (i.e., took time off due to unsatisfactory health).
  4. Are there any restrictions in work (for example, shortened days, long breaks, inadmissibility of working overtime and/or at night, etc.).
  5. Was there a proposal to transfer to another position due to manifestations of illness, negative working conditions (for example, to another workshop with less noise).
  6. Additional information is provided as necessary.

How to determine the category of severity of work performed for VTEK

— The first floor of the building where the Passage store is located today was occupied by the TUSUR library (well, at least I know this, I thought with relief: in the 90s this room was given over to a store), when it was moved, they occupied the space of our sports department.

Heavy physical work (category III)

characterized by an energy consumption intensity of more than 290 W (more than 250 kcal/hour).
These are jobs associated with constant movement, moving and carrying significant weights (over 10 kg) and requiring great physical effort ( loaders, blacksmiths, foundry workers,
etc.)

List of required papers to fill out

In order to indicate in the production characteristics all the necessary information on the basis of which data about the employee will be entered into the production characteristics for the ITU:

  • a list of all sheets confirming incapacity for work, indicating all dates, that is, from which to which the person was on sick leave for the last year;
  • extracts from the medical history should also be provided;
  • a request from ITU to the employer for whom the applicant works or previously worked.

In addition, you will need to collect and submit the following additional papers to ITU or VTEC:

  • a document certifying the identity of the applicant;
  • referral from the medical institution where the subject is being observed to undergo medical examination (form 086у-06);
  • all papers from medical institutions related to the disease, patient records, tests, etc.
  • if health problems began as a result of an injury received at work, then you will need to attach copies of all proceedings conducted under these circumstances;
  • a document confirming the employee’s work activity (work book) and a photocopy of it, which must be certified by the signature of the head of the HR department;
  • documentary evidence of how much the employee has lost the ability to work;
  • and if necessary, a conclusion should be provided indicating that rehabilitation is required.

Attention! A detailed list of papers can be obtained by contacting ITU or VTEC; they will also offer forms for filling out the corresponding production characteristics.

Not everyone can apply for an expert opinion to determine the limited actions of an employee. Accordingly, for this there must be a certain kind of indicators at which it is possible to undergo an additional examination.

Before entering data into the specification, a small list of documents must be prepared:

  • disability certificates for the last 12 months;
  • a request to the organization sent to the ITU bureau where the conclusion will be issued;
  • medical history extract (if necessary);
  • passport;
  • employment history;
  • act of witnessing an accident (if such an incident occurred).

You also need to know:

  1. Working conditions in which you had to work in the last 12 months.
  2. The level of harmfulness, compliance with hygiene standards, how dangerous his type of employment was.
  3. How often did you have to go on business trips, to what area?
  4. Income level and frequency of sick leave, indicating the disease.

Category of severity of work performed in the production characteristics form

At the request of the doctor, you can request a production characteristic at work. The basis for issuance is a statement. In general, the document indicates an assessment of the conditions of the labor process. Based on the medical examination, specialists decide on the employee’s suitability to hold this position. With the document, the citizen returns to the clinic, where a conclusion is made about his state of health.

  • dynamic load;
  • what is the maximum weight of cargo moved during a work shift;
  • stereotypical movements when performing production tasks;
  • how much work is being done;
  • what working posture is recorded for the employee when performing a shift assignment;
  • about movements in the workspace.

Systematization of accounting

05/03/2018 Contents The success of work to improve working conditions largely depends on the correct analysis of the state of working conditions and the assessment of this state both in individual elements and in general according to any indicator.

Submitting documents We take care of everything. Compilation. Collection of the necessary package of documents.

The indicator of labor severity is currently accepted as an indicator that would take into account the “different quality” influence of all elements of working conditions with sufficient accuracy for practice. The legitimacy of using such an indicator is due to the fact that the human body reacts equally to the influence of a wide variety of combinations of elements of working conditions.

Changes of equal severity in the body of workers can be caused by various reasons. In some cases, the cause may be any harmful environmental factors, in others - excessive physical or mental stress, in others - lack of movement with increased neuro-emotional stress, etc.; Various combinations of these reasons are also possible.

Thus, the severity of labor characterizes the cumulative impact of all elements that make up working conditions on a person’s working capacity, his health, vital activity and recovery of the workforce. In this view, the concept of the severity of labor is equally applicable to both mental and physical labor.

The degree of severity of work can be judged by reactions and changes in the human body.

They ultimately serve as an indicator of the quality of the working conditions themselves. In accordance with the modern physical theory of functional systems, there are

Category of severity of work performed for MSE

Therefore, its implementation allows you to normalize any type of work. Exercises are part of training that, through repetition, restore performance in various activities. Determination of the category of severity of work performed Medical and physiological studies have substantiated six categories of severity of labor: I category of severity of labor is a type of activity performed in optimal conditions of a production environment with favorable values of physical, mental and neuro-emotional stress. Under such conditions, a person maintains health and performance. Category of severity of work performed for MSE Third - work is performed under conditions in which practically healthy people experience reactions characteristic of a borderline state of the body. There is a slight decline in production indicators. Improving working and rest conditions eliminates negative consequences relatively quickly. Categories of severity of work 1. The first category of severity includes work performed in comfortable conditions of the external production environment with permissible values of physical, mental and neuro-emotional stress.

A sample of filling out a production characteristic for VTEC. An employee needs a production characteristic if he is undergoing an examination by the ITU medical and social examination to obtain a disability group. The responsibility for filling it out falls on the employer, who does not have the right to refuse to provide the employee with this document. The production characteristics for ITU, the form and an example of how to fill it out can be seen below. How to fill out a production characteristic for ITU A sample of this document is usually provided to the employee by ITU employees along with a list of required documents. The employer only has to fill out the production characteristics form for the ITU.

When is it necessary to complete documentation for ITU?

If a person is often absent due to illness, or has health difficulties or difficulties in performing duties, a medical examination is carried out. It is required to assign disability and receive the benefits provided with it. After completing the procedure, a corresponding certificate can be provided, which is used to register a pension with the Pension Fund.

Referral to MSE is provided by the observing and treating physician. The person is referred to a medical and social examination or a medical and labor expert commission. It is carried out in a special bureau. You will first need to collect a package of documents. It includes production characteristics. The head of the organization must fill out the form. The paper is drawn up in the presence of a doctor if the company has a medical office.

The need for documentation arises in the following situations:

  • a person wants to get a visa;
  • it is planned to undergo treatment in a medical institution, dispensary or sanatorium;
  • the employee enrolls in studies (the document is required if papers are submitted to the university after the start of official employment);
  • there is a change of company (the previous employer is required to fill out the characteristics).

The head of the company can delegate the responsibility of filling out the documentation to a HR specialist. However, the head of the institution will still be responsible.

Categories of labor severity for VTEK

After establishing the diagnosis of the disease, the degree of impairment of body functions and disability, medical and social examination specialists decide on the advisability of transferring the employee to a lighter work activity or a complete ban on any professional activity.

ITU specialists, when deciding whether to grant disability, pay attention only to severe forms of this disease: with severe and constant pain, a hidden paroxysmal course, chronic recurrent pancreatitis, with cystic formations.

MSE for some diseases: list

Many diseases cause discomfort and require constant inpatient examination and treatment, but do not guarantee disability.

Particular attention is paid to hypertension. It may lead to the recognition of an individual's limited abilities, but not in all cases. The main reason is its prevalence in modern society , which is associated with ecology, stress, and a hypodynamic lifestyle.

Since high blood pressure can occur spontaneously, but after some time it can be eliminated as a result of treatment for a long period, it is not taken into account as a prerequisite for obtaining disability.

In addition to the characteristics given in the second and third provisions on the assignment of a disability group, violations of the so-called target organs are taken into account here, which, with constant attacks of pressure on the vessels, bring the body into the risk zone. They are manifested by organic disorders in the area of cerebral vessels, as well as:

  • cardiovascular disorders;
  • renal dysfunction;
  • peripheral vascular disorder;
  • retinal dissection.

If diseases provoke myocardial infarction, stroke, intermittent claudication or blindness, a disability must be established until the citizen is fully restored.

As a rule, it is provided for high and very high risk (grade 3.4 disease), leading to diabetes mellitus, nephropathy and other associated conditions.

Rheumatoid arthritis is another common disease, against the background of which citizens experience systematic pain, suffering, and lose the ability to perform professional duties. It also takes into account the amount of damage caused to bone tissue, joints and joint fluid, the degradation of which is considered on a scale.

At the initial stages, until the destruction of the joints has reached the acceptable criterion for obtaining disability, it is recommended to maintain health in accessible ways. If no positive consequences occur, it is possible to recognize the restriction of rights.

Arthrosis changes in the joints of the arms and legs become visually diagnosed. Often such cases lead to complete helplessness of patients (approximately 10% of those examined) and require recognition of disability.

Chronic pancreatitis is a serious disease of the digestive tract . When recognizing a disability, attention is paid only to some of its forms:

  • chronic recurrent pancreatitis;
  • pancreatitis with acute persistent pain;
  • pseudotumor;
  • latent recurrent disease.

Patients with degree 2 of complexity are usually assigned to group 3 - as a result of a successful operation, until the body is restored.

At degree 3 of complexity, group 2 is prescribed if pancreatic fistulas and pseudocysts are present. And if the patient develops endocrine insufficiency with a pronounced degree of dystrophy, incessant pain and other similar consequences, group 1 is prescribed.

even if you work as an accountant or driver, you may need a description of working conditions. You might be interested to know about:

  • how to pass the ITU;
  • terms and payment;
  • activities and tasks;
  • application and capital sheet;
  • as well as a commission for children (see characteristics for the child).

Determining the category of severity of work performed

  • type of work carried out in a normal environment with favorable physical, mental and neuro-emotional stress: in this case, the employee’s health and performance are preserved;
  • assumes that environmental conditions comply with hygienic standards: in this case, conditions are observed to comply with acceptable production factors;
  • with this type of work, the muscular, neuro-emotional state deteriorates due to not entirely favorable working conditions;
  • this includes work performed in unfavorable conditions, which causes the onset of a pathological condition;
  • a person performs work that causes pathological reactions to appear under the influence of negative conditions;
  • such reactions occur after the start of a work period, for example a shift.

To prevent fatigue and improve performance, you need to use simple exercises and training. Whatever the categories of severity of the work performed, GOST includes the need to carry out simple measures.

Reasons for entering data

Not all citizens can initiate an examination even if they have an occupational disease. To do this, there must be indicators that allow you to pass the examination. The characteristics confirm their presence.

Video

It is filled out based on a list of documentation, which includes:

  • passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation;
  • employment history;
  • disability certificates (prepared 1 year in advance);
  • certificate of examination of the accident, if it took place;
  • a request from the ITU Bureau, which will provide the final conclusion.

Additionally, it will be necessary to reflect data on the working conditions in which the citizen was forced to work for 1 year. It is important to take into account the level of harmfulness, the danger of the type of employment and the compliance of the work with hygiene standards. It is necessary to record the amount of time spent on business trips, if any, and the area visited is recorded. Data is required on the employee’s earnings and the frequency of sick leave. The disease causing the temporary disability is indicated.

Work severity category

Creative work is the most complex form of labor activity, requiring a significant amount of memory and attention, which increases neuro-emotional stress. This is the work of teachers, programmers, designers, scientists, writers, composers, artists, painters, architects, constructors. The work of teachers, trade and medical workers, and workers in all service sectors is characterized by constant contact with people, increased responsibility, and often a lack of time and information to make the right decision, which causes a high degree of neuro-emotional stress. The work of pupils and students is a strain on basic mental functions, such as memory, attention, perception; presence of stressful situations (exams, tests). The successful implementation of various forms of human labor activity is possible with mandatory consideration of the physiological foundations of mental and physical labor, the implementation of necessary measures to increase the body’s performance, and the creation of comfortable conditions for work teams and individual workers.

Particular attention should be paid to those sections that indicate difficulties in performing certain loads (for example, paragraph 8). It must be taken into account that it is important to display the actual volume of work completed, and what percentage is being completed.

Filling out the form for the examination

An employee of the organization or the ITU can initiate the preparation of documents. In the first case, you will need to indicate the institution at whose request you need to fill out the form. In the second situation, a request from the bureau is required. The characteristics are drawn up on a special A4 format. You need to prepare the paper in 2 copies. A copy remains in your personal file. The original is provided to the employee. Arbitrary entry of information is acceptable. However, it is important to take into account all the requirements. To minimize the risk of errors, production specifications for the 2021 ITU are recommended.

If the citizen continues to be listed as an employee of the enterprise, all information is indicated in the present tense. If there was a dismissal - in the past.

The form must contain at least 13 mandatory items. The exact volume depends on the disease.

Video

The paper prepared for ITU must contain the following information:

  • Full name of the employee. Indicated in the nominative case.
  • Name of the organization. Indicated in full. You have to write down the legal address, department, area where the patient works.
  • Position held and length of service. The period of time during which the person works in this company is indicated. Additionally, assigned qualifications are specified.
  • Main specialty.
  • Information about the employee's qualifications. The name, assigned category, class and rank are indicated.
  • The main type of employment. Information about the work performed by the person is also indicated here. This can be manual or machine labor.
  • The daily routine is reflected. You will need to specify the number of days off and the duration of your vacation. Data about the position in which a person is forced to perform work duties is also recorded here. The employer must reflect the amount of psychological and physical stress, as well as the level of hazards and noise. This section must be filled out with great care. It allows you to get an idea of the adverse factors affecting the body.
  • Information about labor productivity. Output is expressed as a percentage. Additionally, it is indicated whether the citizen copes with the daily norm. If the indicators are low, it is important to indicate the reason that led to this.
  • Data is recorded on the submitted certificates of incapacity for work and the amount of time that was provided as leave. Data is provided for 12 months.
  • The clause specifies the types of benefits available to the employee. This may be the right not to go on business trips, a short working day, or exemption from workload.
  • The employer reflects the ongoing relocation with a change in wages as a result of the deterioration of the employee’s well-being, if such a thing occurred. It is necessary to reflect when the action was performed and where the face was moved. The assigned position is recorded.
  • The manager indicates whether he can provide the employee with a different position taking into account the disability. If a transfer was carried out before, the paragraph states that it will not be possible to carry out the action again.
  • Information is reflected that was not previously specified, but may have an impact on the examination. Here they usually write about the personal qualities of a citizen, his abilities and skills.

Increased attention should be paid to entering information into sections that indicate the difficulty of performing certain loads.

An example of this is point 8. It is important to record the actual amount of work performed, as well as the percentage.

There is no need to reflect the information on the ITU form in too much detail. The information is entered concisely.

It is recommended to write down only data relating to the possibility of moving to another position. There is no point in praising a citizen. The document is not filled out to find a new place of employment. It does not constitute a recommendation. The form is required so that doctors conducting the examination can realistically assess the patient’s condition and the level of complexity of the disease. The finished document is signed by the head of the organization or the head of the human resources department. The paper is certified with a wet seal. If medical personnel are present, they also sign. You can fill out the production characteristics for ITU below.

  • Production characteristics form for ITU (VTEK)
  • Sample of production characteristics for passing the ITU (VTEK)

Samples of characteristics of working conditions for VTEK

Such documentation is mainly carried out in free form and, without a doubt, should include the employee’s personal indicators, a general opinion about work activity (qualified), an assessment of professional characteristics and performance. There are often situations when such a document is required for a student at a higher educational institution after an internship at an enterprise.

  • Average difficulty of work (category IIb). It corresponds to jobs that involve walking and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 10 kg. Energy consumption from 232 to 290 J/s.
  • Heavy physical work (category III). This category includes work that is characterized by systematic overexertion, as well as carrying heavy objects weighing more than 10 kg. Energy costs for such work exceed 290 J/s.

Who compiles and for what?

Characteristics are needed to study the working conditions of a particular employee, so that doctors can understand possible health risk factors or the cause of an existing chronic disease. It is a document that is drawn up in any form or on a form that is directly sent to the ITU.

The employer must describe the working conditions of its employees at the request of a medical examination (and not at the request of the employees themselves). A commission is always convened to evaluate the conditions, i.e. this task cannot be performed by only 1 official. The committee must include a doctor. Also usually its members are:

  • occupational safety specialist;
  • HR representative;
  • head of a company (or a specific division).

At the same time, the employee himself does not take part in the work of the commission; his opinion about working conditions in this case is not taken into account and is not recorded. Thus, in normal, everyday activities there is no need to draw up this document. In practice, the ITU first makes a request, after which the company must organize the work of the appropriate commission with the mandatory participation of a doctor. The document is then sent to the addressee.

Categories of work by severity

Factors characterizing labor intensity include: intellectual, sensory, emotional stress, the degree of monotony of workload, and work mode. The intensity of work depends on the severity of the work, as well as on the individual characteristics of the person.
