Who draws up the document and when?

There is no need to praise the employee. This document is not being filled out to look for another place to earn income , to indicate positive qualities, and it is not a recommendation.   • The document must be filled out in the present or past tense, this will depend on whether the employment relationship with the employee has been terminated or not.
  • The document can be filled out either printed or by hand. In the latter case, the data is simply entered into the empty lines of the production characteristics form.

The description of the working conditions of an employee sent for examination to the ITU bureau is an internal document and is drawn up at the request of a company worker. Rules for writing characteristics

Filling out the form for the ITU differs from the typical characteristics of employees and has a strict form. It is developed and adopted within the enterprise, usually by the personnel department. The creation of the document is based on Articles 86-90 of the Labor Code of Russia. In completed form, it is provided to the employee at his personal request or at the request of the medical commission of the institution or department.

The characteristics describe the employee’s work activities in great detail. In addition, it contains production standards, wages, a description of personal qualities, etc. These indicators should confirm or refute injury or illness caused by working conditions.

Nuances of filling out characteristics

It is filled out directly by the head of the organization and must be certified by at least one more specialist. The second expert may be the head of the human resources department, an accountant, a deputy director, a trade union representative, or a medical worker of the enterprise. The participation of a second person in the preparation of the characteristics is mandatory. It is important to understand that, despite the participation of several persons who signed the form, the head of the company bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided.

There is no single universal form of characterization, but there are certain requirements for the content. Its informative nature makes it similar to a questionnaire. Information for the questionnaire is taken from the personal file stored in the personnel department and in the accounting department. A correctly drafted document will contain the following points:

  • 5 - works or not.
  • 6-8 - information from the employee’s card.
  • 9 — working conditions, certification.
  • 10 - description of stress (physical and emotional).

  • 14 - assessment of the degree of disability.
  • 15-18 - data from accounting.

The listed points should describe in detail the specifics of employment, stages of career growth, and information about advanced training. It is necessary to pay special attention to the description of the employee’s personality, for example, indicate irritability, conflict, responsibility, accuracy, marital status, etc. Experts will need information about the employee’s bad habits.

It is important that the document contains comprehensive information about current and alternative working conditions - about air conditioning and ventilation in the workroom, its illumination and temperature conditions. You also need to talk about the working hours, whether there are lunch and technical breaks at work, what is the condition of the fire system and whether the finishing materials are safe. It is necessary to indicate information about the availability of night shifts and overtime on weekends.

The document must be neatly formatted. The organization's stamps are placed at the top of it. There are basic requirements for the form that must be followed:

  • fill out a document from a third party;
  • ensure readability and legibility;
  • if the employee is still working, use the present tense; if he quit, use the past tense;
  • create a document on A4 sheet in two copies;
  • Use specific data in the text, avoid inaccuracies and general phrases.

The characteristic certified by the signatures and seals of the organization acquires legal force. What are the characteristics of a workplace for VTEK

There is often confusion on this issue. It would be more correct to say that VTEK is not provided with a description of the workplace, but with information about the employee who works at the enterprise. The form of the corresponding document is also not officially approved, and the employing company can develop it independently.

The employee characteristics for VTEK most often indicate:

  • name of the employing company, its address;
  • Full name of the employee, his position, length of service, qualifications;
  • the nature of the work performed by the person;
  • length of the employee's working day;
  • figures reflecting employee productivity;
  • data on labor functions performed by the employee at the previous place of work.

The document must be signed by a specialist from the HR department of the enterprise, as well as by the manager of the employee for whom the reference is being drawn up. It is good if the paper is also signed by a medical employee of the company - in the case where such a position is provided for in the staffing table.
