The prosecutor's office is a supervisory government body whose task is to ensure compliance with the civil rights of residents of the Russian Federation.
According to the legislative norms of the Russian Federation, a citizen cannot apply to government bodies without identifying himself. Federal Law No. 59 “On the procedure for considering citizens’ appeals...” states that when filing a complaint with the prosecutor’s office, court or police, a citizen is obliged to indicate his personal data. This means that a complaint in which the “Applicant” column is not filled out will not be accepted for consideration.
