51% of professionals are ready to consider the opportunity to move to any city in Russia for career growth or an interesting project.

• 73% of respondents consider relocation as an opportunity to increase their income;
• 60% of professionals named St. Petersburg as the most attractive city for relocation;
• 66% of employers are willing to cover the costs of relocating employees.

According to many organizations, in recent years the main problem has been the relocation of employees to other cities and regions of Russia. Companies are expanding, opening new functions and are in dire need of professionals. Are employees ready to move to another city for career growth, what kind of offer do they expect from the employer, and under what conditions are they ready to change their place of residence? The international recruiting company Hays in Russia answered these and other pressing questions in its “Study of employee relocation to Russian regions.” The study was conducted from January to March 2021. The survey included 2,662 employees and 219 employers.

What is employee relocation

Translated from English, this term is understood as the movement of one or more employees to work in another area. This could be another region of the country or another state.
