Medical certificates about the child’s health are often required from parents. They are needed for admission to an educational institution, for playing sports, for trips to children's camp. Last changes
At the end of May 2021, the Federation Council approved bill No. 607299-7, according to which it is planned to amend paragraph 2 of Article 127 of the RF IC to allow persons with hepatitis C and HIV infection to adopt children living with them.
The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has proposed a bill according to which a limit will be set on the number and frequency of adoption of children - no more than 1 child per year will be allowed into a family. Also, in addition to a psychiatric examination, potential adoptive parents and capable members of their families will have to undergo an examination by a psychologist. It is expected that these innovations will come into force from the beginning of 2021.
